On my way

On my way to get Max groomed this morning the elk at the Elk Preserve  were near the roadway and I happened to have my camera with me. (yep, an unusual occurrence). There were 30 or more but they took off even though I walked so carefully. These must be very tame as they stayed put.

Across from the preserve there is a cemetery and I love this monument:

Well there you have it!  This is such a tranquil old road to take to Max's groomer and it is so pretty, I just love the ride out there.

Hugs, LJ

  2. What a treat to be able to get photos of the elk. I don't guess I've ever seen one. Nice to travel a quiet country road. Perfect weather here today and a little relief from the humidity.
