Hodge Podge Post

My birthday was last week and the kids got me all this great stuff!!!
Getting very old, getting here wasn't easy, lol....

Now I have no excuse but to learn how to make soap!

Beginning to put quilt together.  Screwed up the beginning of this quilt, took it apart and doing it this way. Oh E vay,,,, a quilting mishap!!!

Made a birthday card for grand (? is that what they are called) son in law

Made this sugar free pretty good brownie mix by Pillsbury.

Most snow we have gotten this year, but hear we are in for a lot more soon... I knew it was too good to be true....

hugs, LJ

  1. Lovely gifts--looks like the makings of a new creative adventure for you. We've had snow here lately too, but we haven't had much this winter, so I can't complain much.

  2. Happy Belated Birthday!!!!

Lovely gifts. Have you said, that you would love to try making soap? Is that where they got this idea, from?

I have a Birthday coming, end of next month. One of those BIG ones! The one with the 8 in front of it! Wow-eeeeee!!!! Just happy that I am still bouncing along. Even if my 'bouncing,' is a lot slower, than it used to be. ,-)

Myself, I can't really enjoy any so-called sugar free items. And I have tried to eliminate most all added sugar, to what I eat. So, all in all, I just don't have "goodies." Can't say it is always easy, though.

Have lost some weight. For health, which is needed.

Eeeek! Rambled! Really rambled. Will close now. :-)

    Gentle hugs,
    Luna Crone

  5. Reading this post I can tell you'll remain young at heart for a very long time. Learning new skills, perfecting others... so much in life to challenge us to learn and grow even into our olden-golden years.

I've made soap and you'll love this craft. It is also a craft family members appreciate because homemade sopa is always welcome !

  7. Great gifts! Soap making is easy if you use the melted glycerin method. I don't recommend the beef fat and lye method at all.
